CEO Craig Crowther Presents at the Global Operational Excellence Summit Calgary 2017

Updated: Oct 15, 2018

GES CEO Craig Crowther spent last week in Canada’s energy capital meeting clients and showcasing the Rider IT platform at the 4th annual Operational Excellence in Energy, Chemicals & Resources Summit.

The event attracted over 200 like-minded energy professionals who shared, contributed and learned from each other’s experience on how to address the challenge of implementing an Operational Excellence programme. During the event, there were interesting presentations, panel discussions and workshops on innovation and digital transformation, process safety, human factors and operational risk.

Global Education Specialists have been supporting Rider International implement their ground-breaking software in Oman since November 2016 by providing project management and change management support. The software has been developed to enable organisations to achieve operational excellence by focussing on the human aspects of operational processes including technical training and workforce competence, so the event was the perfect place to showcase the Rider platform and demonstrate how Rider enables organisations to achieve higher levels of operational excellence.

Being so close to the Rockies, Craig took the opportunity to take a few days out to reflect on life, the universe and everything while visiting the Banff and Jasper National Parks. Time in the mountains and limited mobile phone reception provided the perfect environment to reflect on the recent successes for GES and more importantly, to consider and plan for some exciting projects and opportunities in the up coming months.
