Personal Development is Critical at Every Stage of Life

Running a global business can be quite challenging at times in terms of balancing competing priorities; between leading the team, leading projects, travelling extensively, and the exploring and development of new opportunities. Don’t get me wrong – I’m not complaining – I love it. But one of the things that often gets lost or forgotten in amongst all of this is the time for your own development.

I try to counter this by being an avid reader of reports, books and articles, and all of these contribute towards my ongoing development.

However, and maybe this is the passionate educationalist in me, I do actually miss the discipline of studying something new.

So, this week I have done something about it. I have signed up for an eight-week online programme at the London School of Economics and Political Science. There I can satisfy my study urges by getting to grips with Business, International Relations and the Political Economy.

I passionately believe that every individual deserves the right to an education that will help them in life and give them opportunities for advancement, and that is why I founded Global Education Specialists. Whether that is to feed themselves and their families or run global businesses, or both.

This is why I do what I do, and I’m excited and hopeful that this programme will give me some new perspectives and insights into how I, and GES, can help achieve our vision wherever we work in the world.
